The hubli team attended the GBTA Convention in Orlando, where over 3,000 global business travel suppliers, buyers and experts came together for three days to discuss the latest trends and developments in our sector.
I was delighted to share our journey in the GBTA Broadcast studio. Over 19 million Americans have resigned from their jobs since April. Most people enjoy remote working, but we also need to connect in-person. Microsoft Work Labs recently reported that 67% of employees "crave in-person connection" with colleagues and clients. Hubli makes this happen for larger global organisations.
This is creating a new segment in business travel increasingly referred to as "collaboration travel" which includes team off-sites, smaller regional meetings and group hotel stays for teams returning to the office. I also gave an update on our recent collaboration with Travelport.
It was great to get back to the US, our fastest growing market and also meet so many familiar faces at the GBTA. Huge congratulations to everyone involved!
